Welcome to the
15th International Symposium on Antennas and
Propagation in 2010 (ISAP 2010)! ISAP 2010 that
will be held in Macao, China, from November 23-26,
2010, is the premier forum for presentation of the
current status and future trends in the field of
antenna and propagation. The conference is jointly
organized by the University of Macau and the State
Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves at City University
of Hong Kong, technically co-sponsored by Institute
of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers
(IEICE), IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE
AP-S), IEEE (HK) Antennas & Propagation / Microwave
Theory & Techniques (IEEE HK AP/MTT Chapter).
The technical program is mainly led by Prof. K.
M. Luk and; his colleagues and Prof. Luk are working
diligently to ensure an outstanding technical program
including Keynote and technical sessions, short
courses and tutorials and so forth. In addition,
a best paper competition committee is chaired by
Prof. Tapan Sarkar. The outstanding presentations
of regular sessions and student paper competitions
are solicited and awarded.
Aside from attending the conference, please also
enjoy your tour in Macao. Macao was the first gateway
between East and West 500 year ago and its UNESCO
world cultural heritage of European building in
the midst of traditional Chinese architecture is
solid testimony of the cultural exchange between
the western world and Chinese civilization. Since
16th century, gaming has been the pillar industry
and Macao is now renowned as “Monte Carlo of the
Orient” and “Las Vegas of the East” featuring Asia’s
most modern and exciting entertainment destinations
and preeminent convention and exhibition venues.
Macao is a unique place where you will discover
a world of difference.
The Organizing Committee looks forward to meeting
you and making your visit in Macao a memorable and
delightful one.
Sincerely,
Prof. Kam Weng TAM and Prof. Chi Hou CHAN
